I know this is a strange request and I wasn’t really sure where to post so I thought I would start here. My son who has T1d is at sleep away camp in Warrensburg NY. The camp is having a difficult time managing him and we thought it best to try and hire a “shadow” who can help manage highs and lows, count carbs, change sites, and in general care for Jake’s diabetes while at camp.
The job would entail sleeping at the camp and literally shadowing Jake throughout the day and managing nighttime alerts on CGM.
We are looking for a young adult who has T1d and would like to work for the next 6 weeks!
