I have been a type 2 diabetic, for about 5 years. I was on my A game with controlling my numbers, until I caught a stomach virus about a year ago. My stomach has not been the same, my doctor wants me to lose weight something I have done. She also wants me to eat less carb or better yet no carbs at all. I grew up on southern cooking. I’m not sure where to start. Help!
There are a few websites that deal with lowcarb cooking, plus www.Blood Sugar 101.com is a helpful site to look through.
Basically I think wherever we come from we are all eating quite differently to how we did when we were growing up. Good luck.
