Making Sense of Diabetes: ideas or questions

Today we’re launching the Making Sense of Diabetes initiative.

We are seeking video entries that tell about the impact diabetes has on our lives through one of the five senses: sight, hearing, taste, touch and smell. We will focus on a different sense every week, starting today. Deadlines for submissions are as follows:

  • Sight: Bet, Sept. 28, 2009 at 12:01 am PT and Oct. 4, 2009 at 11:59 pm PT
  • Hearing: Bet. Oct. 5, 2009 at 12:01 am PT and Oct. 11, 2009 at 11:59 pm PT
  • Touch: Bet. Oct. 12, 2009 at 12:01 am PT and Oct. 18, 2009 at 11:59 pm PT
  • Smell: Bet. Oct. 19, 2009 at 12:01 am PT and Oct. 25, 2009 at 11:59 pm PT
  • Taste: Bet. Oct. 26, 2009 at 12:01 am PT and Nov. 1, 2009 at 11:59 pm PT

Perhaps you have ideas for videos but don’t feel much like doing a video yourself? Maybe you have questions about the contest? This is a topic where you can voice your thoughts about them.

Make sure to check out the Making Sense of Diabetes page, for more details.

Not surprisingly, 1HappyDiabetic led the way today with this amazing video focused on sight. Check it out:
