When I was first diagnosed, I started reading about those in combat willing to make the ultimate sacrifice. One of the authors, Commander Dick Marcinko, founder of the SEAL Team Six, stated as one of his training Commandments:

"You don't have to like it, you just have to do it."

That's a good thing to remember, because as she says on, "it is oh so worth it." It is. Although I am generally not one for getting my philosophical inspiration from posters, there used to be one showing a fighter jet breaking the sound barrier, with the caption "There are no barriers, only challenges." That's true for everyone reading this. We all have the wonderful ability to adapt. If there is a wall in front of you, go over it, or around it, or under it,... or through it, or find another way, just keep moving toward your goal.
