I just found out we are pregnant with our first child (Yay!)and lost my job all in the same week (Boo!). Thusly, I am applying for Medicaid... Has anyone else done the Medicaid route in TX or any other state? This is a first time for me, so I am not sure how this is supposed to work. I am about 8-9 weeks now and still waiting for some news if I qualify for Medicaid. I had to cancel my appointment today because the Dr. wanted $600 out of pocket for the visit. It's absurd.
Any advise?
