As far as I’m aware at the moment it is virtually impossible to get CGMS funded by the PCT. I have heard of people who have got them on trial but from what I understand that has actually been down to medtronic themselves and not our stingy PCTs. Which is annoying as I could really do with one. I still get really bad dawn phenomenon and I could do with just being able to see what is going on.
I have only ever been on a Veo. I screamed loudly for 3 years and I think they just gave me one to shut me up. I have to say I love him, he’s purple and called fred. Having a pump has totally changed my disease. I was diagnosed brittle and all though I still swing these days it’s between 3 and 17 instead of 1 and HI
