LDN improves mental health in other autoimmune diseases

Mental health is a major issue in many autoimmune diseases including Type 1 diabetes.

New research in MS ( which is closely linked to Type1 diabetes ) shows LDN improves mental health quality of life in MS.

Would this also be the case with Type 1?

thanks

MS and Type 1 diabetes are very different conditions. Only similarity is that they are chronic. What is LDN?

Zoe

MS and Type 1 are very closely related. They are both discribed as autoimmune disease. People with Type1 or their relatives are at significantly greater risk of getting the other. There is much research on the links. In one the immune system attacks the islets and in ms the covering of nerve cells is attacked.

Recently JDRF announced a partnership with a drug company to evaluate MS drugs in the treatment of Type 1
