I was lucky enough to find it in my 1st year after my diagnosis. With David Mendosa’s intelligence and weirdness I was and am still able to relate to diabetes in a rational way. Unfortunately David Mendosa died just a while ago. But as he said at least he didn’t die because of a diabetic related disease. And I suppose that’s a biggy and something that we all should aim for.
