I was including each down click in scrolling to get to the option. You can click and hold to scroll, but I found that cumbersome too, compared to my old pager Paradigm where it’s right there on the initial screen.
I try not to suspend often because it is so easy to forget to resume. a temp rate of zero is what I try to do, instead.
I agree, and used to do the same thing before basal-iq.
In actual practice that’s what I usually do as well, for the same reason. I was just using suspend as an example of the too-many-clicks thing a lot of people have complained about with the 670. My biggest annoyance was missing the confirmation step when bolusing. If I wasn’t paying close attention my brain would interpret the beep when I arrived at that screen as indicating the bolus started, when really it was saying “Please click me again!” Then it would time out, and instead of going back to the screen with the info I’d already entered it would dump everything and make you start over. I fell into that trap so many times.
It IS easy to forget the confirmation button. I’ve already done that a few times in the short time I’ve had the pump, but I’ll learn.
