Will it be published in English?

Yes I remember a Canadian Airfore aircrew telling me how he was allow to fly past the German 88 mm Flak guns and drop food supplies into the Netherlands in the winter of 44-45. Sure we would be interested.

Congratulations on this achievement Johnben …will I have an opportunity to read your story in " de Krant " ???
I was 5 years young , 1945 , when the Swedes came over the Netherlands in their planes and dropped WHITE BREAD
( from heaven ); at the time certainly better/healthier than tulip bulbs .Neither were there many overweight people around me as I recall .

Hello John:

That’s Terrific News!! Congratulations!! That is Very generous of you to refuse the money. We know, although enjoyable, writing a long story usually is a lot of hard work also. I do receive and read the daily Dutch news but it’s translated into English. Good for you on completing and getting your story posted.

Yes Nel, you will in January. That bread tasted like cake! I remember it well!

JB.

There may have been some Swedes but the bulk of the airdrop was Canadian airforce. We had the heavy bombers that could take a big load.
