I have recently decided to take more control of my diabetes. I switched Endos and have been testing more and not “missing” shots. When I first saw my new Doc I was at a 10.6 and went down to a 9.4, with elevated cholesterol. My Endo talked to me like I was a newbie (yes I know what I should be doing, and I know what happens when I don’t) I know he was looking at me like sure when I told him I had been in better control. Well my last A1c was 7.2(very happy) and I know I can do better. I want to start pumping and using a CGM (Omnipod and Dexcom) my doctor thinks it will be a big help for me, and my Insurance will cover them.
I have been sticking to my program and exercising again. I know dropping a few pounds the heathy way will be tough but I am committed to it.
First blog I am excited about the future.
Way to go!
