What happens when the situation “worsens” with a multi-letter pattern change? 
This is a new game with new rules. I just don’t think we have figured out all the rules.
This is harder than the word association game.
Not sure which word to play on so I will play off of worse.

So if it went from worse, to worsen, it would be ok to go back to worse ? The game would never end.
However, worsens would have been valid. After that, I would be stuck.
