New video on T1D in the New York Times

I think this is partly what makes it feel unsupportive. It is really hard to work your butt off and still not get the kind of control you would like, and for no discernable reason. This is something parents of kids with diabetes face constantly and some of us adults face daily as well. So having people imply that it's a "simple fix" that should be so obvious and easy makes things frustrating. Today I've had a pretty frustrating day diabetes-wise (one of those days where I've been out of range for 90% of the time, first low all night and then high all day, despite really trying), so maybe that's why I'm feeling a bit sensitive.

I am looking for a short video. I want something that conveys the emotional, physical demands of this disease in the shortest period of time. I need it for judges, lawyers, people who don’t have T1s in their lives and aren’t interested because they don’t get it.
