News about "artificial pancreas" research

It’s a very long way from being on our doorsteps, but there was a study presented at the ADA meetings this past week where researchers successfully “controlled” some Type I people’s BG using an OmniPod, a Dexcom CGMS, and specialized software.

The JDRF has a video about the Artificial Pancreas project that uses the Omnipod and the Navigator, too. (I’m a Nav user and was happy to see that.)

Where do you find this video give me the link please

I found it on my local JDRF site (Dallas). Click here and it should take you there.

It’s a video of Kris Bagwell, Type 1 man, who wears the Omnipod and the Navigator, and how they used the devices with their artificial pancreas algorithms throughout one night.
