I will ask for a C-peptide, but on everything I have read most LADA are at a normal weight. I am over weight with 90lbs to loose. I also have a faMILY HISTROY OF TYPE 2 DIABETES IN MY FAMILY. Oops didn’t mean to type that in caps, sorry! my mum has taken really good care of herself since her diagnoses and I think that is why she is not on insulin. I just think my body is tired and after one normal pregnancy and 2 gestational diabetes pregnancies, and me being over weight I really think it has all taken a toll on me.
