Insulet contacted me and let me know that I needed to go through a 3rd party for my pods, for 2012.
It really depends on your insurance. I have BCBS Michigan with General Motors and they didn't even cover the Omnipod system until several of us fought and got coverage. It's a pain in the arse for sure. Good luck!!!
Hi Jaybear. Sorry for the delay in getting back out here. I've been busy at work. I've used Edgepark in the past and only had one issue with them at the beginning, 3 years ago, but after that everything was great. They have a distribution center in Fort Worth and I would get my shipment the next day. But before I do anything I'm going to call BCBS of Texas to ensure that Edgepark is in-network with them. Like I said in my earlier post Insulet called me back and told me that they were in-network with BCBS so I'm going to verify before contacting anyone now.

We have BCBS TX and get our supplies straight from Insulet. They've never said otherwise.
