Recruiting Volunteers for a Research Study

Research Title: Attitudes and Perceptions Concerning Pregnancy among Adult Women with Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetes

Research Objectives:
The purpose of this study is to learn about the views of women with diabetes about becoming pregnant in the future. You will be asked demographic questions, followed by questions about your diabetes, interactions with information about pregnancy, attitudes towards pregnancy education and birth control methods, and beliefs about your diabetes treatment. It will take about 15 minutes to complete the survey. Your participation is completely anonymous.

Who Can Participate:
Women who are between the ages of 18 and 44, have Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes, have never been pregnant, do not plan to become pregnant through fertility intervention or treatment, and are not exclusively having sex with women are invited to participate in this study.

In appreciation of your participation, two $100 donations are being made to the American Diabetes Association and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation by the research team to thank you for your time and to benefit others who have diabetes.
