is it possible you could be encountering issues with scar tissue, and/or gastroparesis ?
Or maybe the change in season / temps is a factor ?
I'm sure the stress is compounding it, but also realize it may be hard to avoid.
I have noticed that some new pump sites take longer to absorb insulin for the first couple hours. I have found that an extra bolus, and temp basal increase has helped with that. After the initial few hours, the site works fine. With CGMS, it's easy to 'see' how the new pump site is working, and correct as necessary. Initially I was thinking my basal was off, when instead it was an absorption/scar tissue problem.
Try to think positive about solving this, and take on the challenge ! Do you use Carelink to download and analyze your data, along with your logs ?
