Please help!

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone can help me. I have had type one diabetes for over ten years now, and my control isn’t perfect by far, but I can generally keep it on track. Recently my sugar levels have been excessively high for no reason, in particular in the mornings, anywhere from 17-21 and I seem unable to control it. I cannot get hold of a doctor until my appointment in June and feel totally out of control. Does anyone know what could be causing this and what I can do to deal with it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sometimes your body changes over time and might have DP differently than you used to or something like that? I would try adjusting a basal shot, maybe nighttime, up 10% or changing your basal rate like that much if you have a pump to get rid of it? DP was a thorn in my side for years until I got a pump in my side which seemed to fix it.

You should adjust your insulin dosage. Maybe you could try to squeeze in a morning workout or walk to lower your sugar.
