Has anyone has poor circulation in there feet resulting in complications? what were you symptons - the look of them, feeling etc & are they relieved now or is there nothing you can do?
Some signs of poor circulation in feet: unusual hairlessness, shiny skin, coldness, unusual coloration.
Although I don’t love the several strands of hair on the knuckles of my big toes, I know that means my circulation remains good!
I’m not diabetic and my circulation is fine but I am a nurse. signs and symptoms of poor circulation are: cool to the touch, discoloration it can range they may be reddish gray and dusky or blue/purple. The color varies with severity. Check the pulses they should be strong and even. There may be pain numbness pins and needles. press your toe nails and see how long it takes for the color to return it should be less than 3 seconds. The colors of your nail before you start that may also be an indicator. hope this helps.
Thank-you very much. It takes about 3 seconds for the colour to come back. My feet have always been cold ever since I can rememeber! Where are the pulses?
its hard to discribe where the pulses are over the computer. 1 is top of your foot the other is the inner aspect of your ankle. You can probably find pics of where they are on line somewhere
Don’t confuse poor circulation with peripheral neuropathy (PN). I suggest that you read about Peripheral Arterial Desease and PN and also talk to your Dr. so they can check.
