Hi there.
How is your boy doing now?? I stumbled across this post while researching, and this is almost exactly what we are going through with our 6 year old. We are in Nz so no paediatric specialists without months of waiting and no childrenās hospitals. Gp has absolutely no idea l. Labs came back normal, crazy blood sugars, one episode of glucose in urine, constantly finding ketones in her wees. Sheās had massive lows and some out of the blue highs. Itās so frustrating when you look like a crazy mama but you know something isnāt right.
Hi, I know you posted awhile ago on this link which was old but what was the outcome with your child. My daughter is 20 months old, landed herself in the ER 2 months ago with a blood sugar of 48. We have since seen her pediatrician and Endocrinologist due to several episodes of low blood sugar. Endo suggested we test 2-3 times a day, last week we noticed a change in her blood sugar, fasting blood was as high as 139 but most days just hovering above 100-110. Day time sugars are pretty consistant between 100-120, but we have gotten the occasional 175. Are we headed towards a T1D diagnosis, her C-peptide and Insulin lab work was low as well, I just want to be prepared for a diagnosis at our next follow up ā¦ I hope everything worked out for you
