That is a very good question. Not sure how many hours from dinner to your low, but I have tried eating some protein and fat before going to bed, something like cottage cheese. I eat only about 1/4 cup and that has worked. If I have a low in the night, I try to only eat about 4-6 grams of carbohydrate so I won't have so much. I eat it and wait 15 minutes. It usually works and it is only about 25 calories of carbohydrates. I use whatever juice I have on hand.
