I have been type 1 diabetic for 5 years and im proud
Well, I can't say I'm proud, per se; I'd REALLY rather not have ANY chronic diseases, but since I have it, I take care of it as best as I can and get on with my life. That has to be good enough, as far as I can tell!
I wasn't at first but after 38 years with Type 1 I'll take it now. Boy at the changes since I was first diagnosed.
