Pump Site Changes

No, I've tried training my husband, but he has no interest in learning, and I would never depend on him for a site change. I'm sure if I was low enough and needed him to do a test for me, he would be able to do it.

And my cats are useless too, lol.

My husband knows how to do my pump change and actually does some of my pump changes if it is an area I have trouble reaching due to lack of shoulder range from frozen shoulder.

No. I have had some help with sensors in my arm when I get stuck. My family usually figures out what I want when my blood sugar is low and I’m not explaining things well. My daughter is especially good at that.

My wife is coming with me when i go for my pump training. My wife rocks.

Although my wife has been fantastic in dealing with all the "stuff" that goes along with living with a T1, I am fairly certain she would faint/pass-out if she ever had to do a site change or fingertip lance. With that now said, perhaps I should be concerned should she ever have to hit me with a glucagon emergency kit...
