Reduced hbaic with dexcom

Thought I would share my good news as I have been using the dexcom for a year and have managed to lower hbaic from 7.8 to 7.1. as felt more confident to have lower bgs and information to reduce the highs.
There are still issues as its still difficult to decide where to put the sensor - only put on stomach and there are scars and marks to avoid, occasionally losing a bit of skin when take off additional tape without using adhesive remover.
When I don’t wear a sensor - I feel lost without it but like to give skin a break for a few days after wearing the last one for 20 days, which was to good as previous sensor only lasted a week. Self funding, as in the uk, so try to get the sensors to last as long as possible, but I feel the system is worth the expense.

Congratulations on your blood sugar success! That rocks! Keep up the good work, day by day and hour by hour… it has definately been paying off!

thanks,
now just need to sort unusually high bp
