I was applying for (and aware I woudl probaly be rejected for) the MM CGM. So far, all my expectations have been met! I was rejected last Thursday. I am looking for any information that may help me wth the next step. …APPEAL.
Their statements in my denial were that it “a treatment or procedure that is considered experimental or investigative 'if reliable evidence shows that prevailing opinion among experts regarding the treatment that is more studies or clinical trials are necessary to determine its safety, efficacy, toxicity, maximum tolerated dose, or its efficacy as compared with standard means of treatment or diagnosis.” {Which is clear as mud!)
My thought is that the FDA approval would make most of that nonsense wrong. I am also not opposed to getting and faxing/mailing every case study I can to get this approved.
