This past days we have been reading a lot about the egg recall and romaine lettuce e.coli outbreak, I found this piece interesting as I identify as one of those women who eat a ton of salad. 
I try to buy unwrapped vegetables. If any taint is on the vegetable it is made worse by being wrapped in plastic and stored for the time it takes to sell.
I tend to think women eat more salads and fruits than do men.
