I have major adhesion allergies, but luckily not to the Dexcom or Libra. I have a minor allergy to the Omnipod depending where I apply it. There is Flonase spray that many like, you spray it before you apply. I am definitely allergic to the tegaderm patches, but if you aren’t you can put it under the Dexcom as a protective barrier. Cut a tiny hole for the wire, it seems to me it would be easier to put it on the Dexcom first to make sure you have lined up the open wire area. But I really don’t know. The Omnipod goes through the protective barriers I have tried for it so….. nothing has worked for me as I react to what I’ve used to help. And yes allergies usually get worse over time.
