Setting up your basal rates for bicycling

Hi all;

I'm new to this site and forum as well new to the pumping end of things. I've been a diabetic for just over 43 years and counting, always injecting via syringe. I've just joined the pumping ranks and I'm using the Animas Vibe with Dexcom G4 Platinum, its my 3rd day on the pump and loving it. My question to anyone that does a lot of cycling how how you set up your basal rates for this great sport. Currently I ride either 40km all out or longer distance at a not so intense pace. My pump is set up as follows basal rate .75U per hour, ISF 2.25 Range 6 mmol/L +/- .5, with these settings I'm running with minimal variances in my glucose range from 5 mmol/L to 9 mmol/L. Any type of insight, input, advise would be greatly appreciated, if you need more information please let me know. I do realize that each and everyone of us are different and more importantly unique, you gotta love this great disease called diabetes. Cheers........

kindest Regards
Ken
