Yeah, AR, I think the first few iterations of the AP will persuade me to stay on the sidelines. "Medically sensible goals," I fear, will fall well short of its longer-term promise. An AP that delivers anything less than 80% time in range, 65-140 mg/dl, would be hard to adopt. I might let it take me through the night and then still drive in manual through the day until the AP gets its chops down. The "we are not waiting" grassroots movement will hold the manufacturers and the regulators feet to fire. They will be an irritating yet productive stimulus to move things forward for us.
