Sleep and morning blood sugars

I haven’t been sleeping well lately and waking up to higher than normal blood sugars. Has this happened to anyone else? I was reading with dr google and saw cortisol can be activated by lack of sleep.

As someone who has sleep apnea I can tell you that poor sleep absolutely drives my blood sugars crazy. I found that taking melatonin helps keep me from waking in the night.

I tried some melatonin last night and slept like a log. BS under 100 this morning.

Dang! After these two testimonials, I'm gonna give it a try. How much did you guys take?

3 mg

I also take 3mg, I get the costco schiff melatonin ultra. I'm glad it helped.
