So I have been MIA for about a month so… a few things have happened since then, I got laid off and then got a job… that I hate. The hours are truly unreasonable and it have change my whole world and not for the good. I hope to find a new job soon!
My other change is that I had to go on shots for a little while because I ran out of pump supplies and I have to prove to my new insurance company that I have not had a break in insurance. Really!?! So now I sit and wait by the mailbox for my letter from Aetna.
Being on shots again has been interesting. I have learned a lot, but mainly I have learned that I miss my pump like crazy! I would rather be attached to that thing 24/7 than not at all! It takes too much effort to do all of that calculation stuff, now I realized why I hated it so much pre-pump. I still remember that I told my doctor one time that I could do one but not both and I still stick with that notion. Come on Aetna! Send me that letter ASAP!
…but now a new addition to the saga, Smith Medical will no longer be making the Cozmo, so this means I need to start shopping for another pump. What joy is mine… I think I might make it a twofer and get the monitor to go with it.
