I think a lot of you are familiar with the Spare A Rose, Save A Child campaign. It’s an annual campaign that was created by people in the diabetes online community to raise money for the IDF program Life For A Child. In a nutshell, Spare A Rose asks people to buy 11 roses this Valentine’s Day instead of the normal dozen and donate the $5 you save at sparearose.org.
The $5 donated goes to the Life For A Child campaign and is used to keep a child alive for one month. I talked with Mila about it on the most recent episode of TuDiabetes Talks. Check it out:
