Spiking after zero-carb drinks

Just now I had half a can of Arizona zero-carb lemon tea. My sugar reading was around 100 before and shot up to 203 an hour after! Initially I was very confused but now that I think about it, perhaps it was the caffeine that caused this spike. I am usually extremely carb sensitive, so maybe I am also very sensitive to caffeine? Anyone else like this? What are your experiences with purported zero-carb drinks? Does caffeine affect you at all?

Arizona tea does have an unsweetened tea ,no artificial sweeteners it does have an " insignificant of less than one carb of honey" ?
You try this without Splenda to see how if spikes.
Easiest way to Check it is Splenda or the caffeine

I have never consumed any tea with sugar or artificial sweetener.
Just like me tea with lemon only. I have not recorded a spike with ice tea.
