B.J. Crombeen, a St. Louis Blues hockey player who was diagnosed with Type 1 at age 9, is taking pledges for JDRF. Money will be donated for every minute he spends in the penalty box. Seems like a great role model for those diagnosed at a young age, as well as those of us diagnosed as adults, that we can still maintain a very active lifestyle despite our Type 1 diagnosis.
