Could your issues be a result of poor site rotation. I use a method that allows each site to rest for almost a month. I recently submitted the method with post to a diabetes blog. Maybe. I went back to using abdomen sites this weekend and my numbers have been amazing. This would save me even shopping for new sets…I discovered the Medtronic Silhouette needles work fine with all my many boxes of Animas tubing. I wouldnt have to spend money for a long time…Thanks for the reply, and the chart is very useful! 
No, never mind. The abdominal site went bad in a couple days, and then, when I tried to replace that, another site failed almost immediately. The steel sets are the last stop before a pump vacation, which I really do not want to take. Getting frustrated and about had it with these infusion issues.
