Storing and carrying insulin when travelling to Boston in December

well, I would be bringing multiples of everything you need (insulin, glucose strips, syringes) because if you need new insulin, it will cost you a lot. I once went on a little trip to NYC and forgot my insulin and it took a while for the hotel concierge to find me a pharmacy that was willing to sell me some. and it was quite expensive. I can’t remember how much but maybe $200 for one bottle. If you can get your doctor at home to write prescriptions for you to bring along.

AND the number one MOST important thing is do NOT put your insulin in any of those little hotel refrigerators. your insulin can stay at room temperature for 28 days.
