In my subscriptions the following link to an article I received really got my attention. Three studies have just recently cast lots of doubt about the safety of the diabetes drugs that are among the most prescribed.

Thanks for this, Robert. I was glad to see that I’m on a fairly “safe” regimen - metformin and lantus (long-acting insulin) - AND, most importantly, low-carb diet. Actos nearly killed me - fortunately, I was only on it for 2 months. I didn’t see anything about sulfonylureas?, which I took for years before learning the downfalls of that.
