Two hours after doing a ezBG Correction on my Animas Ping, I notices that my blood sugar has dropped below the normal. I know this is true because when I did the correction, I did it with no IOB. Should I change my correction factor, or wait for the doctor? My doctor has really been no help because my endo is a hospital based endo so I think I need to make the adjustments… What you think?
I wouldn't make changes based on one experience, but keep careful watch and see if this ISF is bringing you too low. If it's happened before you might want to reduce it a bit to be safe and then see how it works. I always make changes based on a pattern, not a single occurance.
MEGAMINX i do exactly the same you do...i use my brain to decide if i should do what the pump says or not...sometimes i do & sometimes i don't.
