What do you do with swimming, you are protecting your Dexcom sensor?
Gerrit.
I have tegaderm around the sensor but do nothing else. Sometimes I forget the tegderm and just swim and its always fine. It will take 10-15 minutes to recode itself once you get out and near your transmitter.
Good luck.
I was swimming and sun tanning for hours yesterday.
No extra protection for the sensor.
Except being out of range for a while, everything is fine.
The sensor is sticking to my body very well.
I'm about to head to my 10 year old's Birthday pool party now. I usually keep a patch of Flexfix around the sensor anyway. It's been extremely hot and humid here on the east coast and the Flexfix keeps the sensor secure and I can usually get two weeks out of a sensor.
Enjoy the swimming!
