Symlin & Lo-carb

I just started Symlin and am loving it! I am looking for hints. I take 30 mcg with dinner (the side effects with more were too much) and am splitting my reduced Humalog dose to compensate for the slowed digestion. But still, my BGs are too high for my liking, and not just after dinner and at night. What is working for others? Any personal stories will be appreciated greatly.
