Hello, I recently switched to the Tandem T:Slim and after a few hours every single time I insert a new insertion, the area becomes very red and itchy and remains that way the entire time it is on. Does anyone else experience irritation? I do not remember having this problem at all when I was using the Mini Med. I am wondering if it is something in the adhesion?

Have you contacted the manufacturer about this? Often they can provide you with non-allergenic adhesive.
I have heard of this happening with adhesive (not just on the T:slim infusion sets). You’ve got some options…one option would be what @LorraineK suggests. Give them a call and see what they tell you to do. There are other infusions sets on the market you can use. I have also heard of people using wipes like this to create a barrier between the adhesive and their skin:
