NEWS UPDATE: Bye Bye, larger t:flex insulin pump… At the end of June, Tandem Diabetes Care is going to stop selling new t:flex Insulin Pump that hold 480 units of insulin. “Demand for the 480-unit t:flex was no longer enough to support its continued development.” The company says these t:flex pumps will continue to be fully supported for the life of their warranty, and they’ll still manufacture cartridges and all compatible infusion sets. No action is needed on the pumper user’s end. Access to supplies and to the same 24/7 customer support will not change. Current users were notified of these changes by email and outbound phone calls.
