Tell Me I'm Not Alone :(

I seem to have two different phases:
(1) where I think that diabetes sucks and I cry like a baby (and start down the dangerous road of self-pity)
(2) where I think that EVERYONE has diabetes and I am completely normal

The other day, I told my non-D husband that we had some dessert-- so if he wanted to eat it, then he should take extra insulin now. He looked at me strangely, then burst out laughing! It took me a minute to remember that we don’t all take insulin

haha…I said something similar to my husband once. He was going to eat a slice of pizza and I told him to check his sugar first.

Diana,
I know how you feel as I have had type 1 for 40 years with blood sugar readings that look like a roller coaster. Even though my A1C is reading 6.5 and doctors say your doing great keep doing what you are doing. The pump may be the way to go even though I am still considering the change.
