Well I am very proud of myself !!
Dane came done with a tummy bug that lasted 10 days, he had diarrhea, vomiting and could not eat or drink much.
I got up every few hours to give him some more insulin through the night.
Then because he didnt eat much for about a week, his sugars were going very low so we had to set a temporary basal till he could get some food in his system again.
I was so glad we didnt have to go to hospital. It is bad enough when a normal person gets these type of viruses but extremely hard when a diabetic gets it.
He is back to normal again now and eating like a horse!!

He is soooo lucky. One for having you and 2 for not having to go in the hospital. Every time I get that bug straight into the hospital I go. Dehydration and whacked out blood sugar. And very low potassium levels. Glad he is all better.
