Little about me... I am a recently diagnosed type 1 as of October 31st (Halloween, I know, right?)
Did the Joslin Clinic DO IT program last week for 4 days and feel like I now have everything I need to stay healthy.

Ahhhh, I have thought about going to Joslin. I live in the UK but sometimes feel I need a bit more specialised information. Any thoughts on Joslin, I’d be interested. Thanks

Linda, the DO IT Program at the Joslin was the best thing I could have ever done. I was there for 4 days (Monday — Thursday) all day. They covered EVERYTHING and answered any and all questions. I was with a group of 15 type 1 people from all ages and locations. We had one woman from Vermont was has had type 1 for over 50 years... She received a medal from Joslin. Another woman came all the way from Anchorage, Alaska and was very glad she did because she learned so much in those 4 days that she couldn't get in Anchorage. They have another DO IT coming up in March & April.
