Thanks for the email. Well, I guess if I used my brain I would have tried to draw it back out with the syringe. Really never thought of it and haven’t tried it. I’m amazed that you can get through 3 days with only 80 units though. My basal rate is 1 unit per hour so 72 units alone for basal over 3 days.

Yeah, my insulin dosage is a bit low, but there is no rhyme or reason to it. I try to stay active but there are people on this forum who are way more active than me with higher insulin requirements.
