I was a little girl when this was happening so I don’t know all the players and underlying stories. With politics there is always several things happening at the same time.

I am wondering several things.
What exactly was the relationship between the two. Were they allies or just trying to retain peace?
Exactly what was the political climate at the time.
Do you think they both knew the other was a diabetic?
Does anybody else find it fascinating that 2 world opposing world leaders had an illness in common?
If Anwar Sadat were not assasinated do you think there would be peace now in the middle east?
