I’ve been taking neomercazole for a long time for my hyperthyroid and my white cell count is low, usually under the borderline. I was wondering whether you had the same problem and whether after the radioactive iodine therapy, that improved the white cell count?

Did your weight go back down by itself after you got the dosage right or did you have to work it off?

No, I didnt have any blood count problems. The weight gain, I think it resolved and never did come back. Things used to be much less stable. Recently my blood tests have allowed me to keep on a steady dose.
