That’s very strange about the insurance. Many (most) here have the Minimed, but I have an Accu-chek Spirit, and I love it! I’ve had their pumps for 18 years. They have always handled all the insurance claims for me, and are wonderful in every way with their customer care. . You also get an extra (backup) pump, so there is no need for a plan if something happens to your pump (rare, but it happens).
